The New Accountability: Lessons in Student Learning and School Quality from Massachusetts

Event

The New Accountability: Lessons in Student Learning and School Quality from Massachusetts

Date

Held on April 10, 2019, 8:00 – 11:30 am

School quality and student learning are too complex to be captured by any single test score. Reflecting the full measure of schools and student learning requires a new approach. Join us for the second annual MCIEA forum, where we will explore early lessons from the districts and schools participating in the Massachusetts Consortium for Innovative Education Assessment. Hear from teachers designing meaningful and relevant performance assessments and see how districts are using multiple measures of school quality to improve student learning, school culture, and community engagement.
